Garlic Parmesan Knots
Mozzarella-stuffed yeast knots baked golden, tossed in garlic butter, and covered with Parmesan.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast (7 g)
- 1 cup warm water (240 mL)
- 2 tbsp sugar (25 g)
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (300 g)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil (30 mL)
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes (225 g)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (50 g)
Garlic Butter
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (85 g)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 12 pieces.
- Flatten each piece, place a mozzarella cube inside, and seal completely.
- Roll into ropes and tie each into a knot.
- Place on a baking sheet and let rest 15 minutes.
- Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Toss hot knots in the garlic butter.
- Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve warm.
