Stromboli
Pizza dough rolled with mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni, ham, and sauce, then baked until golden and ready to slice.

Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (450 g)
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour, for dusting
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce (60 mL)
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded (225 g)
- 4 oz provolone cheese, shredded (115 g)
- 4 oz pepperoni slices (115 g)
- 4 oz deli ham, sliced (115 g)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (10 g)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border around the edges.
- Evenly layer the mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni, ham, and Italian seasoning over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, pinch the seams closed, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush the stromboli with the beaten egg and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 22–27 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
