Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (450 g)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce (60 mL)
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded (225 g)
  • 4 oz provolone cheese, shredded (115 g)
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices (115 g)
  • 4 oz deli ham, sliced (115 g)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (10 g)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border around the edges.
  4. Evenly layer the mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni, ham, and Italian seasoning over the dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log, pinch the seams closed, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush the stromboli with the beaten egg and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 22–27 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool for 5–10 minutes, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
